Bedside Lamps on Budget

Hello,

I was looking for different type of lighting for my bedside tables.

I have found pair of these lamps on Kijiji and purchased them both for $15.

This is how they looked before:

All they needed was little upgrade of the shades. The new shades are from Target sale - $3 each.

I must admit I am really enjoying having them in my bedroom, the light is soft but good enough for night's reading.

First of all welcome back after long break! :)

Unusual Noah's Ark Lamp:

This lamp was dirty and kind of sad, but it was very easy to see potential in it. 

This is the type of makeover that I like most. Not to much work and effect can be seen almost right the way. Some paint plus some creativity and of course lot of fun :)
