Small Spaces Recipe

Even not a very large house can be stylish. The atmosphere you can create inside, depends very much on what type of furniture and accessories you are going to use and what lights and colors you will decide to apply into the room. In small spaces is better to avoid large patterns on the walls and it is better to adopt cooler and delicate shades of colors, instead of very strong and dark. Good idea is to use neutral color pallet.

Window treatment should allow as much of natural light as it is possible, but of course consider the comfort of privacy.

Avoid very heavy, large pieces of furniture. It is better to use something smaller and lighter, that is easier to move and if possible at the same time is multifunctional.
Accessorizing can be a challenge in small space. Perfect choice is something what can allow the light to shine through its texture. I would suggest to use lot of glossy surfaces and lot of glass. Ideal choices are mirrors, crystals and glassy decorative elements. They give the impressions of more open space and more airy feeling because of light diffusion.

Remember not to use too many decorative things. Leave some surfaces free, on some you can place an elegantly covered book. On the wall you may use pictures of relaxing places, some kind of "airy" landscapes which can be perfect gateway for our eyes.

When you are selling your house, all personal items such as family pictures or diplomas must go. Instead – as I said before – try to create this amazing atmosphere using something neutral.
The final WOW effect is pretty much about the composition. Try to "put everything together" in a most elegant way.

Think what kind of impressive sensation you would like to create, what kind of mood would be perfect to catch visitors attention - and go for it!!!
